Lavender usually brings to mind the purple fields of France, but… did you know it’s also grown in Israel? Bringing you lavender freshly dried from the Galilee, packaged into a sewing kit that will have you surrounded by sweet scents. Relax alone or with friends, crafting small pillows that will brighten the aroma of your wardrobe or a room in your house.

The kit includes:

• 50g of dried lavender, grown in the Galilee region of Israel
• A 70x50cm piece of 100% cotton fabric with a pretty lavender print (pattern may differ slightly from the picture)
• A needle with an extra large eye (hole) for easy threading
• A spool of white thread

Our tutorial will guide you through the steps of sewing lavender pillows.

A small 7x9cm pillow, perfect for slotting in amongst the sheets in your linen closet, uses 11-15g lavender, letting you sew 3-4 pillows with this kit. A large heart pillow as shown in the tutorial uses ~40g lavender.

For even more pillows, you can add other filling material to the lavender, such as cotton or beans. The lavender is strong enough that your pillows will still smell wonderfully lavender-y.
